VICE PRESIDENT OF MARKETING

This position will have primary responsibility for Product, Segment & Strategic marketing activities of Winbond’s SpiFlash in Winbond Electronics Corporation America.

【Location】San Jose,  California

【Responsibilities】

  • Oversees and directs the marketing department with the global vision

  • Preparing, implementing and monitoring the marketing strategies and long term product planning to achieve the business goals
  • Develop and manage flow of necessary marketing and creative materials to global teams working closely
  • Strategic Marketing and Product Promotion
  • Engage and drive activity across all of segments in EU and USA that enables markets worldwide.
  • Market analysis and competitive positioning
  • Drive and facilitate communications of chipset reference designs and design-ins/wins
  • Visit major OEMs, ODMs, CMs customers on a regular basis
  • Orchestrate interface with major customers in conjunction with sales for price, delivery, quals, notices, returns, special issues, etc.
  • WEB search on application and market trends and educate the field
  • Perform TAM/SAM analysis on responsible segments
  • Segment Marketing and Customer Tracking & Reports
  • Track, analyze and follow-up on opportunities
  • Monitor field forecast and drive sales to meet or exceed plan
  • Present status on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis
  • Gather information on customer requirements, schedules, volume, competition and market segment trends.
  • Oversee generation of periodic reports (bookings, billing, backlog, etc.,)
  • Present status on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis

 

【Requirements】

  • Strong understanding of Flash Memory product and market
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • A willingness to travel
  • Strong PC skills (Word, Power Point, Excel)
  • Experience interfacing with sales network (reps, distis, FAEs)
  • Experience in dealing with and visiting major customers.
  • 20+ years’ experience in semiconductor
  • BSEE/Business in Computer or Electrical Engineering
