Leadership training
Winbond has designed classes specifically aimed at different levels of managers. This training relies on such methods as management training classes, assignment of project duties, and rotation among different positions to enhance the management team's competence.
• | Junior-level Managers: Assisting junior managers in understanding the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required after transitioning into managerial roles. A "Pre-diagnosis→Learning→Practice→Final-evaluation" framework is employed to observe how junior managers apply their learning. In line with practical needs, courses on management topics such as cross-generational and cross-departmental communication, and overcoming unconscious bias are provided to improve communication quality and enhance management skills. |
• | Mid-/upper-level managers: (1) This training relies on management functions and personality assessment tests to help executives to uncover their individual strengths, and apply those strengths to their individual and team development. Methods including management classes and training, rotation among different positions, project practice, and external training at well-known schools overseas are employed to build a strong management team. (2) Each year, a number of senior personnel from industry and academia are invited to speak concerning various topics. It is hoped that this will help senior managers expand the breadth and depth of the knowledge required for future decision-making. In 2023, over ten experts conducted sharing sessions on topics such as 2050 carbon neutrality, artificial intelligence, and global political and economic trends. (3) In 2023, the establishment of the “Senior Executive Development Committee“ invited directors to serve as workplace mentors for managers, passing on leadership experience and management wisdom. Additionally, external training resources are supplemented to expand managers' knowledge beyond their field and enhance their international perspective. |
