Professional skill training
In order to foster in-depth professional expertise, Winbond is employing various learning resources and channels to cultivate employees' professional skills and help both individuals and the company to achieve success.
• Every year employees are sent to participate in a number of domestic and overseas academic conferences, where they can absorb the newest technical knowledge from around the world. Internal sharing sessions and knowledge management channels also provide personnel with specific needs access to the newest information. These methods allow employees to absorb and transmit the newest technical knowledge, and enable Winbond to derive greater benefit from its resources.
• Data science training：
In keeping with its digitization campaign, Winbond has placed great emphasis on employees' data science education and training during recent years. Winbond has consequently relied on partnerships with National Tsinghua University and National Taiwan University to jointly establish a series of classes concerning artificial intelligence, smart manufacturing, and data science. We have also invited heavyweight speakers from the likes of Microsoft, IBM, and WPG Holdings give talks on digitization-related topics. At the same time, we also hold internal Power BI classes teaching employees how to organize and visualize existing valuable data. Furthermore, the data science classes on our cloud learning platform are helping personnel learn data science knowledge. There is currently a total of 794 data science classes on the platform, and the training penetration rate reached 96% in 2021.
